I used Poochini for the 1st time a few weeks ago and my dog loved it! He didn't want to come home with me. You can tell from the moment you walk in that this place has great dog energy. The 2 women that run it are so nice and are were very concerned about my dogs well being.

My Vet recommended Poochini, so I gave it a try for my Lab that needed to be boarded for a business trip I had to make. I was very impressed with how the facility is more like a house than cage after cage like most boarding places. The workers strive to create a stress free environment in a stressful situation for most pets and owners. I was very impressed and will definitely use Poochini again.

My cat is an epileptic and has to take medications at certain times. I called Poochini and they informed that both of the owners (who run the place) are Emergency Vet Tech's with over 20 years of experience. It is very difficult to find a boarding facility that can handle a pet like my cat. I am so happy I found Poochini and will be using them every time I need to board. 	Do you have a limit on how many animals you board at once?

	Yes, we have 17 dog kennels and 12 cat kennels; however some animals prefer to stay together in the same kennel, so actual amounts can vary.

	Does my dog/cat have to be altered to stay with you?

	No, we can accommodate unaltered animals.

	My dog is aggressive towards other dogs; can he stay with you?

	Yes, he/she will receive individual play time and will be privacy blocked from other animals.

	Do you ever let the cats our of the kennels?

	Yes, under supervision and only if all of them get along, if they don't, we give all of them an opportunity to stretch and lounge around individually.

	What experience do you have with animals?

	Daniela and Chanda, the owner/operators have over 20+ years Emergency Vet Tech experience, Chanda also has experience with boarding facilities and Daniela also has experience with dog obedience training. Both serve as Board Members for East Bay Animal Rescue and Refuge (EBARR).

	Are the dogs allowed to leave the facility on walks?

	We are an all indoor facility with an indoor park like play area, that dogs enjoy. At the owners request, we will take your dog for several outdoor walks a day.

	What are your hours?

	We are open M-F 7:30am to 7pm and by appointment only on Saturday and Sunday. We are closed daily from 11:30am to 3:00pm.

	Are tours available?

	Anytime that we are open, please call ahead so we can make sure to give you our full attention.

	You charge more than some boarding facilities, how come?

	We will not sacrifice the quality of our facility or the care for your family member. We believe that you get what you pay for and feel that our rates present a value to our clients and their furry family members, which is why we have so many repeat clients.
